I am now on my second reading of this book. It made me so sad to read that Stan Gooch died penniless. I see that about half gave this book a 5 and the other half gave it a 1, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it.||" . . . this idea goes against the grain of academic orthodoxy on the subject. But the observations that led Gooch to his theory are factual, universal, and compelling. . . . Archaeological discoveries have slowly accumulated to prove Gooch right again. . . .
