Dr. Trautman's book is the authoritative book on fishes in Ohio. The book has excellent keys, pictures, location information, descriptions, and basic biological information. Any worker who is identifying fishes in Ohio should have and utilize this book. Updates to this document may occur in the future, but currently there is no better book for Ohio, and the state is lucky to have such a well written document for its fishes.
