YIP|This book has an admirable goal - to teach hypothesis testing using permutation test as the center piece. The 3rd edition is supposed to be a replacement (not a supplement) for using as a graduate text book for hypothesis testing. For that purpose, the book fails miserably. The book hardly explains anything.
